The Lawrence Arts Center
For over 35 years, the Lawrence Arts Center has existed as the creative heart of the city of the arts. Today this unique environment has become the preeminent venue where professional performing and visual artists come together with students of all ages and levels of experience to enrich and enliven the community through performance, exhibits, and arts education.
The Lawrence Arts Center vigorously fund raises to support our exhibitions, arts education, and performance programs as well as to maintain a scholarship reserve to support students who need tuition assistance. Over 500 families benefited from the scholarship fund in 2010.
We need the support of private individuals and businesses to make this happen.
The Arts Center draws a diverse population representative of Lawrence and the Topeka-Kansas City Corridor. The Arts Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
